So glad I finally got one. This brings back so many memories for me as I grew up having a Thrifty cone everyday of my childhood! We had a Thrifty drug store behind my house - nothing beats the memories. I’m just very greatful that Winco has the ice cream locally.

The ive cream scooper came in chipped on the edge. Definitely not something I expected from a $30 ice cream scooper.
This is truly the best ice cream scoop ever not just for nostalgia sake. Also, just as if I know their customer service is really amazing.
Absolutely a nostalgia buy! Is it the most practical ice cream scoop for most purposes? No. Are there better ice cream scoops? Yes. (And I own several, lol — and several more that aren't better, haha.) Was it a little overpriced? Maybe. Does it remind me of California in the '80s (before they were wack-o crazy)? Absolutely! I love it. Is it worth it? Probably only if you have fond memories of the Thrifty Ice Cream counter when you were a kid.
Sure brings back old memories of my child hood going to Thrifty’s and getting a double of even a triple scoop of ice cream. Scooper works well. Will continue to enjoy it and share it with the grandkids

I love the design and nostalgic appeal. I use these scoops in my ice cream shop. My only wish is that the handle was a little heavier duty. My handles snap at the bend afrer a few months of use.
